Services

On this page, all services provided by METRANS related to transportation orders are displayed. The services are divided into four sections and are configured for each container separately. After configuring a container, you can utilize the copy data function..

When copying data, the source container is already selected and marked in gray . The data from this container will be copied to the containers you choose. You can select the target containers by checking the boxes.

When using the function, keep in mind that these services may not be compatible with different types of containers (orders with multiple container types, for example: you cannot copy refrigeration service from an RF type container to a standard type container).

The service can be ordered using the switches.

The ordered service is indicated by the icon .

The unordered service has an icon .

Services that are not available for the specified containers are indicated by the icon .

Services that are automatically selected based on filled information are marked with the icon .

Customs Services

Customs clearance IM – METRANS – the switch is enabled without the option to disable it if you have selected the option for customs clearance using METRANS declaration in the Transport Chain section. If you have chosen another customs clearance option, the switch will be disabled without the option to enable it.

Unloading place services

Hoses and couplings - available service for containers of type tk, bk. The driver delivers hoses and couplings to the unloading point.

ISOPA MDI – available service for containers of type tk, bk. The driver will be equipped with protective gear for the transport of methyldiisocyanates (MDI).

ISOPA TDI – available service for containers of type tk, bk. The driver will be equipped with protective gear for the transport of toluene diisocyanates (TDI).

Compressor – available service for containers of type tk, bk. The driver will deliver a compressor to the unloading site for pressurizing the contents for faster unloading.

Compressor with Food Filter – available service for containers of type tk, bk. The driver will deliver a compressor with a food filter to the unloading site for pressurizing the contents for faster unloading.

Chassis rental – The driver will disconnect the chassis (trailer) with the container at the unloading site. Pickup will occur after unloading the container.

Tipping Chassis with Rotary Valve – A Tipping Chassis with rotary valve will arrive for unloading (used for moving bulk materials to a greater distance from the chassis).

Tipping Chassis – A Tipping Chassis will arrive for unloading.

Side Loader – A trailer with a hydraulic arm will arrive for unloading. This arm enables easy and safe transfer of the container from the trailer to the ground and vice versa.

Solo Chassis – Available service for containers up to 20' in length and with a load weight of up to 8 tons. The container is loaded directly onto the truck (without a chassis). Used for delivery locations where there is limited space for maneuvering or turning.

Terminal services

Cooling (Temperature Control)

Available service for containers types rf, rh, dr, hr. The field is bordered in blue to indicate the possibility of temperature control.

Temperature request [°C] – Fill in the desired temperature to which the container should be controlled. Except for 0°C, it is necessary to fill in the plus or minus signs. Note – Note for METRANS Customer Service.

Heating

Available service for containers of types tk, rt The field is bordered in blue to indicate the possibility of heating.

Container heating:

Product temperature [°C] – From / To – define at what temperature or range the product in the container is to be heated. In addition to the value of 0°C, the plus sign is automatically filled in for the completed value.

Heating type - select the heating medium according to the technical capabilities of the container.

Heating Medium Temperature [°C] - define the temperature at which the heating medium should act on the container. It is not possible to select a value lower than the required minimum temperature of the product.

VGM Weighing by Metrans

Upon arrival at the terminal, the container will be weighed, based on which a VGM certificate (Verified Gross Mass) will be generated.

Other services

Delivery Note to Unloading Place - The driver will bring a delivery note for unloading. Please upload the document in the Upload Documents section and mark the file as a delivery note.

TCC Number Request - available only for transport passing through the Port of Koper. It is used for container clearance at the port.

ECD delivery - The driver will bring the European Cleaning Document (ECD) for unloading. This document serves as a unified European certificate of container cleanliness.

Document Neutralization - The driver will bring only the METRANS CMR for unloading.
